An era of change
"Change is the only constant factor in this universe. The universe is constantly changing every moment. All others stay the same."

More wiser words were never spoken.
Things are changing everyday all around us, whether we notice them or not. Take the current pandemic for instance and how it has impacted the current social and economic scenario.
A couple of years back, if you would have proposed the idea of working from home to the senior management, it wouldn't have been considered seriously. Many project managers, directors, VP's and team leads would have scoffed at the idea. The old school of thought "A team which works together needs to stay together" was prevalent.
But come 2021 and things have changed dramatically. Work from home is now the norm. It has become the rule rather than the exception. And it hasn't been easy. For one, the change came suddenly and many were unprepared for it. But then, that is life. And nothing in life comes easy. The iconic lines from the legendary movie Rocky Balboa (2006) come to mind.
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"
And, as life dictates: adapt or perish.
The companies which have adapted their work and business models have thrived in the pandemic, while those which haven't have fallen behind.
Similarly, those individuals who have made the most of the situation have survived and will thrive once the situation gets better.
And it just goes to show that change will happen, whether you like it or not; whether you're prepared for it or not. What is in vogue today, will become history tomorrow.
Enjoy the good times while they last. And don't spend too much time worrying about the future. And above all, don't take life so seriously. It's not like you're going to get out of it alive anyways.
Change is inevitable. All other factors stay constant.
Stay safe and stay happy.
