Wish you a happy 2021

To say that 2020 was 'a hell of a year' is a gross understatement.

2020 has affected every single one of us, and how!

But that's life. You have to take the bad along with the good. Nothing lasts forever. This reminds me of my favourite line in Rudyard Kipling's epic poem "If":

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, and treat those two impostors just the same."

Life has to move on.

In many ways 2020 has been a wake-up call for us. It has caught even the most seemingly well-prepared nations unawares and placed them on the back foot. Those who were able to respond well, were able to contain the spread. Those that could not, have suffered.

2020 has also altered perceptions in a big way, especially in India.

Come 2020, and how the tables have turned. Work from home has evolved from being a far-fetched possibility to the new norm.

Companies have been forced to alter business models to make way for remote working. Those who have adapted. have survived. Those who haven't have perished.

Kudos to all the health workers. volunteers, doctors and nurses who have put their life on the line to save our lives. Super thanks to all the delivery guys who have worked day and night to make our lives easier.

I hope the worst is over and sunny days lie ahead.

Here's wishing everyone a very happy new 2021.

Keep your chin up, as always!

Note: As resolutions go, I have made a few:

Family and health are on first priority. Even if the situation eases and we have to get back to office, I will ensure to not stay back for too many long hours.

More blogs, more articles.

Finally, I won't take life so seriously from now on: It's not like anyone has gotten out alive anyways!

Best wishes!!
